My 30s quilt in progress.

This is my five dollar 30s quilt. I started it in 2002. This was a block of the month at the Quilt N Stitch in West Monroe, LA. We paid $5.00 for the first block and if you completed your block and showed it at the next meeting you got the next block free. I finally got an applique border on. My next step will be to sandwhich the three layers together and baste the quilt. After I do that I will quilt it. I haven't decided whether I will machine or hand quilt it.

What I did this weekend: a new purse

Put together this little purse this weekend. Was fun to put together. The first picture is the purse back. Has a zipper where you get into the purse. Purse is lined inside with a pretty fabric. Second picture is the purse front. It has a pocket in front too. Purses measure 8 by 10 inches.

Made another charity quilt

This is one I did for our quilt guild's quilts for kids in need. It is done in a modifed Turning Twenty pattern.
