Locker Rug Hooking Project

A few weeks ago I took a class at Quilt N' Stitch called Locker Rug Hooking. We used the book by Cindy Murray called The Happy Rug Hooker 3. There were lots of laughs floating around about the title of the book we used. Locker rug hooking is fun to do once you get started. It's a great way to use us your fabric scraps because you use 1 1/4 inch strips of fabric. All that you need to get started is a locker hook tool that looks like a crochet hook on one end and on the other end is an eye like a needle. You also need 3.75 gridded canvas, cotton locker yarn like the Peaches & Cream thread and of course your fabric strips. This project I finished is about 9"X 12". It's a great take along project while waiting. I've started a new one which will be a rug which will finish 22" x 36".
